Ford is preparing to give their headquarters a great new look beginning this month. Ford has taken pride in designing, engineering, servicing marketing, and financing some of the world’s best cars, trucks, SUVs, and electrified vehicles around and did not have plans to stop. This is why Ford is planning on giving their 60+-year-old facility a major facelift.
How may you ask? Ford’s master plan is to relocate 30,000 employees from 70 buildings into two main locations. The first location is the Product Campus. This campus will feature a stunning, 700,000-square-foot design center that will become the home to their state-of-the-art studios. It will also feature a complimentary outdoor courtyard for working and socializing. The Product Campus will be the center of Ford’s Smart Mobility solutions and will focus on technology integration to flawlessly connect the digital lives of their vehicle owners to their vehicles, and also a place for testing the world’s largest fleet of autonomous vehicles.
The second phase of this transformation will be their iconic Ford World Headquarters complex and Ford Credit facilities. This area will be home to Ford’s senior executives and will feature technologically advanced facilities, a modern café, and updated open work spaces that promote collaboration.
