Ford Fusion by Design: Performance and Physical Features

Ford's Fusion model has been popular worldwide over its 16-year history. It is one of the first commercially available cars to offer multiple hybrid fuel systems for an energy-conscious consumer base. But that's not all Ford has to offer consumers.

The current Fusion offers both front wheel drive and all wheel drive options, depending on the trim chosen by the consumer. All trims come with an inline-four-cylinder engine, though there are a number of options, depending on trim. The base model is a 175-hp 1.5L engine, the deluxe model is a turbo 245-hp 2.0L engine and a hybrid 195-hp 2.0 L engine is also available.

The Ford Fusion also offers many coveted interior features. For entertainment, SiriusXM HD Radio and Microsoft's SYNC technology are available. For personal comfort, Ford also offers an eight-way driver's seat, built-in garage door transmitter and many more optional extras.
